After the Vote

This election season was definitely one of the most heated elections we’ve ever had. People had their own opinions about who we should support and vote for and everyone felt strongly about their choice candidate.

But now, election season is over and our President is Barack Obama who was re-elected to his place and for some, this was great news! For others, it wasn’t so much.

The great thing about our faith in God is knowing that no matter what happens, we can trust that God is not only in control but that He will work EVERYTHING out for the good of those who love Him.
We can trust that He will never give us more than we can bear because He promises that He won’t.

So no matter where you stand politically, keep your head held high and your faith in God’s will even higher!

Promises To Remember:
Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. -Matthew 6:34

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. -Romans 8:28

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. -Jeremiah 29:11

For kingship belongs to the Lord, and he rules over the nations. -Psalms 22:28

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.-Joshua 1:9

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. -Isaiah 55:8-11
