Although the gift wrap is thrown away, the food has been eaten and you have tons of leftovers in the fridge, don’t let the Christmas attitude leave you.
Christmas can bring out the grateful attitude in us, as we look at all of our items we received and all of the smiles we have brought to others with our kind words and our thoughtful gifts, we start to reflect on just how blessed we have been in the past year.
Don’t forget to say THANK YOU to the people who have shown you love and support through 2012.
Write thank you notes to each of the people who have bought you Christmas gifts but also write thank you cards to your friends and family who have comforted you, led you, supported you, and provided for you this year.
I know many of us have had troubling times financially, emotionally, spiritually, etc. and so I am sure there are many people who have been there for you. For example, your local church or food bank. Maybe a family or friend at your job or maybe an anonymous donor who provided for your child’s school bill.
If you can, take the effort to write a thank you card and let others know they are appreciated.
How do you show you appreciate others? Let us know in the comments!
